Kokoro
the project behind a small English voice
Runs on Mac, Windows, Linux. The lights below are for Kokoro 82M.
How good is it?
Near the top of small open English voices in public listening tests. Less expressive than a top cloud voice studio.
This job is not on the July 2026 chat board, so the line above comes from the model card.
Home voices are clear. They are still less expressive than a top cloud voice studio when you want a performance.
Will it fit?
A green light means it fits and feels fine. Amber means it fits, with a wait or a tight memory pool. Red means the file is bigger than the room we count.
